For the summer we have gone to a week to week schedule with the kiddos. This works to everyones benefit and gives us all plenty of time to spend together. I love it! It also gives us a much needed break. Although, Jared and I being the overachievers that we are...we also have the kids on some of our Kid Free weekends as well. Guess we can't get enough of them!
Since the last update we have no only hit summer but we have had some other big stuff happen. The last of the Baseball Opening days occurred. Carina was last, her softball season began and is now ending soon as well. Man it goes by quickly! We have also gone to fairs, visited with family, celebrated my birthday, gone on a kid free road trip, set up our pool and celebrated Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Phew. Its not even the end of June yet! I have so many pics to choose from but I just grabbed a couple. Some good, some not soo good but at least you get to take peek into our lives! Woohoo.
Here goes! You ready?!?
Mothers Day picture for their momma. So cute. We framed and wrapped it of course!
Mothers day performance at Jarvis where my dad sang, danced and enjoyed himself immensely. Watching the group he teaches always makes me smile.
Mothers day at the beach with my momma and fambam. Jared spend the day up with his momma but of course, we did not get any pics of that! I will teach him soon enough. We did make her a cute family tree with the kids hand prints though!
Dads first "groupie"...
Love my momma!
Random stop during a Freezy run to do a little GeoTracking.
I caught this pic during Aidans game because the coach didn't think they hustled hard enough so pushups was their punishment. Gotta say. I love a strict coach!
They may be uncle/nephew but they sure look like brothers!
Rich is a born and bred RedSox fan so we gave him a special treat and brought him to a RedSox game. Even got him a pic with the pitcher! Hehe.
Group pic (pretty far away) before Carina's opening game!
Grandpa Rich was able to get this ball signed that Carina hit into the fences. So cute! Hopefully he keeps it forever!
I was lucky enough to go with Laneya on her outdoor ed trip to Walker Creek and it was amazing. There were soooo many pics but I just wanted to post a few. It was a great memory that hopefully her no I ever forgets!
Took the kids to Costco and this is the chaos that ensued. Never ever a dull moment!
One of many Six Flags trips that I am sure we will go on this summer!
Normally Alyssa pulls her hand out before she touches them, but not this time!
End of year field trip with Neya's class...and it fell on my birthday. So fun. Glad I was able to attend!
Neya's first baseball game certificate!
Got to watch my boy play second base on my birthday. So exciting!!
The babe took me out to dinner and he also made me sit on a dumb saddle while they embarrassed me. He loves me.
Went up to the Colusa Fair and was able to sign all our names on Dwaynes derby car. It was pretty neat and the kids were stoked to paint on a car! Haha.
We inherited a kid for the weekend. When you got 6 already. Whats one more!
Dianne submitted some photos and they won some places. So neat!
Alyssa, Tyler and Rian all went ziplining!
Alyssa beat some guy in cup stacking!
The kids saw the fair entry for their Grandmas Foundation.
We got Chuck in a selfie! WHOA!
probably the sweetest fair pic ever!
Took a trip to AZ to visit friends for a few days. Just me and my guy. So much fun. They all made my year and Jared was amazing the entire time. We had soo much fun!!
Finally put the pool up in the backyard and the kids did not waste any time hopping in!
Another six flags trip in the books!Had to post this pic! So cute!
Fathers day we spent with my dad and fam at the racetrack. It was really fun.
Jared headed up to Colusa for the weekend and swam and watched a movie with the kids and his dad and Dianne and when he got home there was a little gift waiting from the kids.
So far I would say our summer is already extremely eventful but there is still more to come! Oh how I love making memories with all these crazy people!
