Color Run Fun!

Carina has been slowly teetering on the edge of 'does she like to run or not' and more recently she has actually started to really like it. Good stress relieve and moment to take by yourself. Oddly, all the same reasons I totally love it. Wonder how many other runners feel the same as we do. I had offered to sign us up for a fun run and much to my surprise Aidan decided he wanted to run as well! I got us signed up, bought us some fancy socks and off we went to Sacramento just the three of us for our first Joint Fun Run!

We signed up as Team Crazy8 and well...it was all good except for the fact that poor Carina ended up being pretty sick that weekend and that meant that he asthma was really acting up as well. Not to fret, she didn't let that ruin her fun! She was such a trooper and Aidan (although kind of impatient) was okay with the fact that we didn't get to run the whole time. We still did a great time, 39 minutes for our first time and really, that's great all things considered, especially since neither kid really knew what to expect.
