Six Flags Mania!

It is no surprise that we have Six Flags memberships. After all, what else do you do with 6 kids that doesn't require all that much money and seems new almost every single time you go. So far we have only used our passes twice but in those two times we have learned two things...

1. Food there is expensive
2. Refills are cheap

To aid in this we took our food last time, and we quickly were told that unless we have a 2 year old we cannot take our own food in...good thing Alyssa is small :) Then we found out that you can buy a wristband for soda refills for $6.50 for the day. Now to some this may seem like a rip off, but not us! We have 6 kids man. This means if we refilled each of our cups even 7 times we have already benefitted. The last time we went we probably refilled our cups a total of 11 times. The good news is its not only soda they serve so we were able to get Powerade and not seem like the worst rotting teeth parents in the universe. Haha.

We spent a little bit more time checking out animals and taking pics than we did last time, but it was all fun. The kids got to hang with the penguins for quite a bit and they truly adored Alyssa, so cute. Then Rian thought it was neat that they would swim towards him here and there so of course, we had to snap some pics of that. The one animal that I really have never looked at EVER while at this park was the walrus. They are funny creatures. The kids got a kick out of how giant they were and I thought it was interesting that I never realized they had two little flippers that look like feet. I guess I just assumed they only had one back flipper. They are neat creatures for sure and had one lady not been hogging up the entire main window I would have had more pics of him swimming in front of us, but oh well. I tried.

During our last trip the most memorable moment that I even care to write about is that Aidan went on Superman. Now. When Carina and Jared first mentioned they wanted to go everyone seemed so excited until we got there and then they were all making excuses about not liking twists and turns or being to short etc. It was kinda funny. So Jared and Carina ended up walking down to the line and heading over to the ride. Along the way I think was some 'bock bock bocking' at the kids that didn't go and Aidan fell for it. He ended up taking that LONG walk to catch up to them and he ended up having a blast. It made me feel sad for a minute until we saw them come back out and he was SO very proud of himself. To be honest. We were all proud of him also. It takes a lot of guts to go on that ride and even at 31 I can't say I would do it all excited for my first go round. So hats off to Aidan!

Now...here's a couple quick pics from that fun day at the park...
